Facilities Development Report 2022
Straffan GAA is a club with a vision, now is the time to look ahead for the next decade. We love our recent succesful developments: the astro pitch, skills wall and now walkway.
MAIN PITCH LIGHTS
Main pitch lights were completed in September with our U11 girl’s footballers the first team to play a match under them.
We installed a state-of-the-art LED system with remote switching for training lights & match lights.
Clubhouse power board upgraded and rewired.
NEW PLAYING PITCH
New Site clearance completed and prepared.
Soil importation licence arranged.
New pitch platform raised and levelled.
Primary site perimeter drainage completed.
Focus for 2023 for your pitch development team
Complete (Top side) drainage and seeding in Spring of new pitch.
Goalposts, ball stops and boundary fencing for pitch.
Car Park construction.
Installation of the pitch side fencing.
Walking Track & lights extension to 1km total length.
